wishing i could shop around...

I saw this shirt on Fashionably Geek and oh much I want this. It's actually from Go Ape Shirts and it's really not that expensive, but alas, I cannot not buy it.

And once I am up to it, I'll finally post about the scavenger hunt I did a couple weeks ago, and the little road trip I took this weekend to Georgia and South Carolina!

words i tweet the most...

Something that I have been doing for a while that seems to be picking up in popularity is Twitter. I picked it up from my friend Amber, who I know was twittering way before Ashton, Diddy, and Britney ever were. But any way, I found this nifty site where you can make your own art. No what exactly is the art your making, well it takes all the words you use when you tweet and throws them all together, and the more you use the word, the bigger it is! Well, I made mine, and that's what I have up there for you. It's called Wordle and you don't have to have a twitter to make these, it looks like you make any wordle with any words you want {oh the possiblities}. So if you get bored and want something fun to do, go and check out wordle and make a couple! It might be more fun then you think.

we're going on an adeventure...

Since I went on the Scrapbook Treasure Hunt and I had so much fun on that, it kinda put me in the mood to do an actual scavenger hunt. So I started thinking (this that's what I like to do) about what kind of scavenger hunt I could do or even make up, and while I was talking to my friend Amber, I came up with making a scavenger hunt for the release of Twilight which comes out March 21st. And since I really had nothing to do yesterday afternoon, I started coming up with things to do for the hunt. Some of the things are kinda hard, some are pretty easy, but it's meant to be done with friends and to have a good time (without getting into trouble). I figured each task could have points assigned to them, but I didn't feel like doing that right now. Any way, here is the list of things I have come up with so far, and if you have any comments or new ideas to add to the list I would be greatly appreciated.

Extra Points: If you take every picture with a character 15 points if it’s just a picture, 25 points if it’s life size (the picture can either be in the background or a friend could make a mask and wear it when you are documenting the task being done)…

Go to a restaurant or store and take a picture with a fork (don’t do it at
home)…

Crash at
least 3 release parties, extra points for each extra one you go to…

Take
a picture of a menu that has a veggie burger on it…

Find something that
is not Twilight related with the word dazzle on it…

Go into a toy store
or the toy section of a store or a sports and play a game of baseball…

Try and play haki sack with a red apple…

Find a school in your
area that are the Spartans (bonus points if you get to take the picture with the
mascot)…

Find a old, red Chevy truck…

While in the toy section
or sports store find a volleyball and spike a friend in the head with it…

Make edible art (that is Twilight related, duh)…

Do this one
before it gets to dark (it’s scary being in the woods at night) and reinact any
scene that was shot in the woods…

Go around town posting wanted pictures
of a character and line from the movie that could go along with the wanted
poster [i.e. Wanted: Bella (put some picture of her on it) My own personal brand
heroin, please contact Edward Cullen]…

Plant a little cactus someone
where in your city…

Find someone with a cast [bonus points if they let you sign it with a Twilight related character name or line]…

Find a “Kiss Me I’m Irish” shirt…

Have a friend dress up as “butt crack” Santa…

(video) Recreate the prom scene (bonus points for dress wear and if it’s
with a stranger)…

Go to a nursery (bonus points if you actually get to
make compost)…

Find a menu that has mushroom ravioli on it…

Find
something that shows ones love for a cat…

Find a Volvo dealership (bonus
points if you actually get to sit in the car)…

Go to the bookstore and
find a book on Vampires or Werewolves or on Quileutes…

Find a worm (it
doesn’t have to be alive, you could just take a picture of some from a tackle
shop)…

Find a surf board (bonus points you put on a wet suit)…

Buy a pack of twizlers…

(video) Start talking to a stranger and
at some point tell them the Cullens don’t come here…

(video) Start a
conversation with a stranger and drop the word “dazzle” at least 10 times…

Climb a tree…

(video) Ask a stranger if they know how to get to
La Push…

Someone washing a car…

A CD with Clair de Lune on it…

You or a friend playing the piano…

Find someone dressed like
Vampire…

You or a friend trying on a prom dress…

Anything that
has do with ballet (bonus points for actually getting into a ballet studio)…

(video) Start a conversation with someone and tell them something they
can google…

Have a lettuce fight (bonus points if you get video of
throwing pieces of lettuce at strangers yelling “we’ll all be implicated if this
ends badly”)…

Find a deer crossing sign…

Put on a pair of
sunglasses that look like the Ray-Bans Edward was wearing (bonus points if they
are actual ray-bans)…

Find some cobbler...

So yeah, that's what I have come up with so far. I'm not thinking you can get all of them done if you start like the Sunday before the dvd comes out to the Tuesday it comes out, but it still might be a fun little thing to do to get ready for the dvd release.

[Note: I was going to post a video, but since youtube isn't working right now, and I'm having a hard time finding video's google that I want, I'll have to post a video later. I'm just a littl eirritated right now.]

he's got the wright stuff...baby...

So when I began my little howboutno365 I had no idea that one of my favorite director's would also be attempting the same task. And from what I've seen we both have been keeping up nicely! He's pictures are bit more interesting since he is in Toronto filming a new movie [oh how amazing it would be to have achance to go up there right now to expierence any of it] while mine aren't ever to different. So if you are a movie geek like my self and a fan of Mr. Edgar Wright or you enjoy looking at those nifty 365 blogs, then check out Edgar Wright Here.

Now after writing about one of my favorite director's I figured I could include the other two that I kinda look up too. Just to get to work on anything with either of these guys would be a mind blowlingly amazing expierence. So let's start with one that I was watching last night, Kevin Smith. I had a free rental at blockbuster, so I went and rented An Evening with Kevin Smith 2 because I saw the first one a few years ago and remembered how funny it was, and I knew I needed to see this one too. So I started watching the first disc last night when he was in Toronto and I;ve already laughed so much I cried and I think I'm only half way into it and I still got disc 2 to watch. The man is just straight up funny and so fucking blunt. And either you enjoy his kind of humour, you learn to enjoy it, or you just don't, and if you are in the third category of that list, well then fuck you. Sorry, but the man is a funny mother fucker! And when it comes to his universe of movies, the man has a style of his own.

I remember the first movie I saw of his was Dogma, and I watched it with my mom who is very Catholic, so that was really interesting to watch that one with her. She thought some of it was funny, but she was pretty offended (which made it even more the better). Then my friend Will let me borrow Clerks and from there I started getting into the whole ViewAskewniverse, watched all of his movies, and came to the conclusion that this man is genius, oh and that my favorite movie of his Mallratz (even though now I'm kinda leaning towards Zack and Miri Make a Porno).

The other director I was gonna talk about is Tarantino, and I was all excited about talking more about him, but I just got home from babysitting and I'm kinda out of the mood to continue writting about this. Not that I don't want to, it's just that I was really only writting this because there was nothing on tv at all to watch, and now that I'm home I can finish watching An Evening with Kevin Smith. So I leave you with this...

"What's in the Box?"

I was on JoBlo today and came across an article written by Joblo himself about two of my favorite things, movies and hockey! I've never heard the Florida Panther's announcer before this [never thought I would care either since they are our instate rival] but I couldn't help laughing at the lines this guy has for when someone scores a goal. Favorite one in my opinion "Your My Boy Blue!" And the line doesn't even have anything to do with scoring goals, but it's still really funny.

But even though it's awesome to have the combination of great movie lines involved with a goal, I'm still partial to the Lightning's radio announcer, Dave Mishkin and how he announces a goal [and yes I included this video because there is also a Dan Boyle hat trick in it too].

Which one will you be getting?

I was browsing online last night and I came across the new Vanity Fair cover and the comedians featured in it. I looked at all the pictures and couldn't believe how well they were done. A couple of them were done so well you can't even tell who they really are the picture! And it's not even that they are amazing pictures [don't get me wrong, they really are] but it's just so funny to see these characters recreated by such a talented group comedians.

Then this morning I saw the new photos from the new Glamour magazine. Not as funny, but still really well done. They took the approach of great woman in history. And no doubt they did an amazing job with this photoshoot as well, but I'm kinda leaning more towards Vanity Fair. Visually the photos have a much higher quality in color and exposure [I have no idea what I'm talking about really, just kinda spouting our words that I think make since]. Any way, I think I'm gonna plan on buying the Vanity Fair magazine.

Can you guess who these acotrs and actress are? And who they are portraying?
